Jessica Lorraine is a versatile acoustic artist and singer-songwriter featuring mesmerising vocals, acoustic guitar, a loop station, ukulele and electric guitar. With a natural, raw and soulful voice, Jessica brings her unique interpretation and style into her eclectic setlist of covers and original songs.

A self taught musician starting at the age of thirteen, Jessica began performing in July 2014. Once Jess got a taste of live performance, it was a natural progression for her to begin a serious career in music performance.

During 2015, Jessica shared in winning the Moira Shire heat of the ‘Battle of the Bands’ and the Kool Skools ‘Cover Of The Year’ award with an original interpretation of ‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift, as part of the Jess & Laura acoustic duo.

As a solo artist in 2016 Jessica competed in the Mulwala Water Ski Club’s Got Talent competition, impressing the judges with her live looping cover arrangements, and was awarded $1000 prize money for second place. She also won first place in Katamatite’s Big Day Out Busking competition.

Jessica has a growing reputation for her captivating live looping arrangements and her music has a modern indie-pop/ folk sound that is evolving as she experiments with her songwriting and musicality.

She has released two singles to date, ‘Ghost’ and ‘Daydreaming’ which are both available to download on Triple J Unearthed and has also released a music video for ‘Ghost’ in collaboration with Cinnimar.

Jessica is currently working on her Debut EP, details to be announced.
